Product Review: Organic Food Bar – Active Greens Flavor

image00

Sports bar recipes can be a practical way to pre-digest food (blend it) and hide many foods. The organic food bars’ active greens flavor blends almond butter and dates with a plant protein powder and a bunch of vegetable ingredients including broccoli. There is no way that eating dehydrated broccoli powder is the same as eating fresh broccoli but there are quite a few key nutrients to be found in dehydrated vegetables.

I suggest using this product for the following situations:

  • Use as a mid-morning snack when a whole food option is not available.
  • Use in place of very refined (high sugar) bars with poor quality ingredients such as syrups, refined grains, and fruit sugars.
  • Use as a late afternoon snack when supper is far away and a whole food option is not available.
