Caesar salad is always on the menu at bars and pubs. It’s fast, easy, and usually pretty good. There’s nothing unhealthy about it per se, but often, restaurants will add way too much dressing, which can not only be unhealthy, but can make the salad soggy and lifeless. There can also be a ton of sodium hiding in that dressing and in the chicken. With a homemade, healthy version, you know exactly what you’re getting.
Nachos are another crowd pleaser, but they aren’t always filling and can get pretty messy. This tortilla dish has all the flavours you’d find in a classic plate of nachos and you can prepare it in advance. It’s just as gooey and delicious and really kid friendly, so the whole family can enjoy a bit of sunshine and a good meal.
