«Yakitori» is the name of these chicken skewers in Japan. I have adapted the original marinade recipe by replacing «sake» and «mirin» (both are alcoholic beverages made from rice) with white wine.

I tried this recipe for the first time tonight and I really enjoyed it! I had to omit the sesame oil and seeds due to allergies but it still tasted great. I just served it with an eggplant, red pepper and zucchini medley and everyone approved.
